> **Revised Thursday, 17 September 2026.** The 2027 UEFA Europa League champion has been updated from Milan to Juventus, and the 2026‑27 Liga MX top scorer has been changed from Armando González to Juan Brunetta.

Barcelona secured the LALIGA championship on 30 may, ending the season as Spain's top club. In France, Paris Saint-Germain captured the Ligue 1 crown the same day. Across Europe, Juventus lifted the UEFA Europa League trophy, while Porto and PSV earned Portugal and Dutch championships respectively.

Betis finished outside the top two positions in LALIGA, confirming a lower-placed finish. In Ligue 1, Estéban Lepaul emerged as the top Goalscorer, outpacing his rivals. Meanwhile, in Mexico's Liga MX, Juan Brunetta claimed the season's top-scorer honour.

Juventus secured the 2027 UEFA Europa League trophy on 30 may, completing its continental campaign. Alexis Vega recorded the most Assists in the Liga MX Clausura, a tally confirmed on 13 June. These individual accolades complemented the club triumphs across Europe and Mexico.

In Mexico, both the top-scorer title for Juan Brunetta and the assist-leader accolade for Alexis Vega were confirmed on 13 June.

PSV Eindhoven clinched the Eredivisie championship on 1 August, the last major league title to be decided for the 2026-27 season. This victory completed the list of league champions that also included Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Porto and Juventus's continental success. The season's outcomes were therefore fully resolved by early August.

## Analysis

Barcelona's LALIGA triumph reinforces its dominance in Spanish football and secures the associated financial rewards, influencing its transfer budget and bargaining power in the upcoming window.

The championship further solidifies the club's leverage in negotiating sponsorships and retaining key talent amid growing competition from other European leagues.

Juventus's Europa League win restores European credibility after a period of underperformance, potentially improving its seeding in future continental draws and enhancing its attractiveness to high-profile players. The success may also impact the club's revenue streams, given the prize money and broadcasting rights attached to the competition.
